LANAP incorporates a PerioLase® laser system, which can take the place of traditional methods for a variety of treatments.

- Gingivectomy: If you want to see more of your teeth and less of your gums, we can balance out your smile by removing a small portion of your gums and reshaping the remaining soft tissues.
- Peri-implantitis treatment: When bone and tissues around a dental implant become infected (often due to poor dental hygiene or other underlying health issues), we can remedy it and save the implant.
- Frenectomy: Sometimes the tissues that attach your upper lip to your gums and your tongue to the bottom of your mouth (known as “frenula”) make eating and speaking difficult. We can remove problem tissues and give your mouth normal freedom of movement.
- Gum disease treatment: We can remove gum disease-causing bacteria and diseased gum tissues before periodontitis and other far more serious health problems occur.
